Lean Manufacturing and the big move!

In January 2008 we moved into a newly built BREEAM premises.  In 2009 we expanded our premises from 14,000 to 20,000 square feet, but we’re still growing!

This March and April see’s us expanding our plant further, we’ll have a whopping ***** square feet at the end of our expansion.

During which time we are employing lean manufacturing thinking to our move.

What is Lean?

The core idea is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Simply, lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources.

In essence, we have evaluated our production process, and will look to capaitalize on effective workflow in the new plant design.  Making sure we reduce waste wherever possible, making our processes as streamlined as possible.

It’s an exciting time for us! We look forward to showing you round our plant on it’s completion!
